Recap: What Does Medicare for All Really Mean? [Forum]

September 13, 2019 by DFC

Author: Melinda Soeung, Access to Care Chair

The Access to Care Committee addressed the question of “What Does Medicare for All” really mean in their 2019 forum in August. In order to open this discussion among patients and health care providers, the committee invited experts in the community to facilitate an open conversation about the advantages and disadvantages of Medicare for all. Patients, providers, and payers alike all joined in this discussion during the forum, providing an engaging conversation that helped presenters and attendees alike see the different perspectives of offering Medicare for all. The committee hopes that this conversation will lead to more helpful discussions that will assist voters in making the most beneficial decision for improving health care.
