Join Doctors for Change for “Casting Light on Blind Spots,” a forum on health care disparities associated with implicit bias.
Presentations will define implicit bias specifically in the context of health care and how one can identify implicit bias, as well as its underlying causes and impact on care. After this event, attendees will be able to identify implicit bias in their own practice and formulate a strategy for addressing bias in order to improve health outcomes.
Following the presentations, attendees will have a chance to engage in a Q&A panel discussion session and ask questions from our speakers.
Speakers include:
Sanghamitra M. Misra, MD
Medical Director, Mobile Clinics
Texas Children’s Hospital
LaTanya J. Love, MD
Vice President, Diversity and Leadership Development
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston
Panel moderated by:

Attendees are encouraged to complete the “Social Attitudes” assessment provided by Project Implicit prior to attending the event. The assessment can be found at implicit.harvard.edu.
