January 17, 2018 by DFC

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, and we are thrilled to partner with CHI St. Luke’s Health for a Training for Healthcare Professionals seminar on the widespread health-related consequences of human trafficking, and the role of the medical professional in preventing trafficking.

Hear from speaker Wendy Macias-Konstantopoulos, MD, an emergency physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, assistant professor of emergency medicine at Harvard Medical School, and director of the MGH Human Trafficking Initiative.

Admission to the event is FREE, registration required: CHIStLukesStopsTraffick.org
