March 30th, a day to honor medical professionals and the contributions they make to protect the health of people around them. Working in the medical field requires dedication and passion, and now more than ever, it is important to recognize the efforts of physicians and the sacrifices they have made.
As COVID-19 has swept the nation, physicians have been at the front of it all. From dealing with surging cases, overflowing hospitals, and the lack crucial supplies, the overwhelming burden put on doctors has been unimaginable. Not only is there physical stress with working long hours, but the emotional toll is just as great, if not greater. They’re not just doing their job; they’re risking their lives and the lives of those close to them.
More than a year later since the COVID-19 pandemic began, doctors are still working to ensure the nation’s health and safety. As vaccines rollout and cases start to drop, there may be a return to what is the new “normal.” However, the fight against COVID-19 is far from over, and physicians will continue to rise to the challenges ahead.
Today on National Doctors Day, we want to thank each and every doctor, nurse, and medical professor and recognize their actions helping others.
